      - CEO is a micromanager - You will not receive final checks - No commission even if promised - Missed pay schedules and unresponsive finance team - Rapid firing (CEO fires people often with zero notices) - Company direction changes several times a week - CEO struggles with communication of plans - Unethical behavior such as requesting employees to share information unrelated to Pesto - Expect to. be parented by CEO as if you were a child - Expect to be called out and demeaned in front of team members during team meetings - Very poor culture with misaligned values - employees see a great vision for helping a country's economic status while leadership sees dollar signs and a business goal - Expect to be told your worth is measured based on your ROI - Zero room for growth - Expect to work 2-3 other jobs under 1 job title

      Pros

      Very ambitious team that struggled with their education business but were able to build something amazing. I contributed to both education & their new AI product after the pivot. Very high standards & hard working team. People push each other & lots of learning opportunities. They're sticking to remote which is great. They've become a lot more organized & have clarity now.

      Cons

      They struggled with pmf for a long time. It was very operationally hectic, didn't enjoy my time in 2023. I think they can do better with better remote work best practices but I would recommend to expect a bit of healthy chaos if you join a startup.

      - People are great - Pay was good, no negotiation - Good vision - Remote flexibility - Good growth opportunities

      Cons

      I have worked at successful startups before and before PMF it is hard. If you don't want to have that experience, you will not enjoy. People are ambitious and they work hard but it can be stressful at times.
