Pros
Good pay over the holidays, the Christmas part time position is better than casual because you’re guaranteed hours. Casuals are inclined to get at most three shifts a month. Senior staff and higher management were fantastic and so friendly!
Cons
Store Management is unorganised and uninvested. They’re too busy gossiping on shift with one another on the floor while they ignore customers and staff beneath them. Will also gossip about staff in front of others with no hesitation. Very cold and avoidant of new staff. made no effort to observe and actually train Christmas staff. Staff would constantly ask for feedback in which they would admit they haven’t been paying attention. Would intentionally be short and condescending towards new staff instead of training them. They also shut down conversations when staff would try to address this. Constantly putting their tasks and responsibilities onto senior staff.
