That means not only flexibility in where I live, but also the flexibility to prioritize my family's schedule and fit work around that.

- There is so much engineering work to do and not enough engineers to do it. The hardest part of my job is having to tell colleagues, "I'd love to do that for you, but it's going to be a while before I get to it." - Sometimes we work on something that ends up not being used, either because we changed direction or we built it for a particular customer who changed their mind. We try a lot of things and they don't all stick, so we have to get used to moving on to the next thing.
