Pros

Point It is a positive working environment where honesty & hard work are valued, rewarding and cheering each other's successes are encouraged, and everyone learns from challenges. The agency is great at promoting from within, and encourages both having fun and training. If you're looking to work with top notch talent in a supportive workplace, you should check it out. Oh- and there's both snacks, & it's a 5 minute walk from the SAM Sculpture Park- great for running off the snacks.

Cons

If you don't like open format offices (or very open cultures), Point It will be a rough fit. Everyone supports each other, but everyone also has to be honest. As is often true of agencies, pay is somewhat lower than nearby tech firms.

Pros

Staff could potentially come in as junior digital marketers after college and grow their digital marketing skills and client communication chops very quickly. The Leadership Team was solid, but the market is shifting rapidly in digital marketing. They've since sold to Add3, another great local agency. Good combo for both companies!

Cons

The market and clients shift rapidly in digital marketing, so change is constant.

Pros

The biggest pro at Point It is the people (meaning colleagues, not management). You will work with a great group of people who care about eachother. They also offer competitive benefits and flexible schedules.

Cons

Prepare to be worked to the bone, with little appreciation from management. In an attempt to get rid of the long hours and frustration, management will throw busy work at you to see where your time is going-instead of trying to figure out the source of the problem. Management can't be trusted. When you speak up, you will be shot down. When you say something in confidence, know that the entire management team will know within minutes. People are promoted on an annual basis, and not based on performance. This can be very frustrating, since you may be working alongside someone with far less skill or real-world experience who will have the same title as you.
