Pros
Remote and PTO , but even that is no longer a pro as they are are forcing us to return to office and PTO is now accrued + can’t take off if another team member has already been approved for that day.
Cons
Treated like human robots, pushed to the max and disposed of when burn out is reached. Handling 100+ cases in a day is not out of the norm and is expected. Metrics are watched closely and reviewed often to keep you moving, in competition with your team members or risk being put on PIP if you fall behind. Team spent months voicing burn out concerns and expressing there were no time for breaks during the day. Were gaslit and told to work faster because team members were meeting benchmarks so it was doable. Role is now slowly being offshored to India. Underpay is an understatement especially if you are in NC. They believe 42k is acceptable for this role in this economy even with years of insurance experience. TLDR: You will be worked to the bone. High volume, high caseload, high production, you are just a machine in a seat. When the team complained of the unreasonable load, management told us we want you to be overloaded so that you appear valuable and don’t get laid off. That should tell you all you need to know about this company/role.
