Pros

Management is fairly hands-off so as long as you're doing your job. There won't be any troubles. They were a few issues between employees in the past but they were few and far between. Overall, the management and employees were friendly.

Cons

First glaring negative was the lack of HMO. They provide a certain amount for medical fees but it really doesn't compare to the discounts you get from getting an HMO. This probably is the nature of doing client work but they try hard to stay on the client's good side to the detriment of the employee's work-life balance. Mandatory overtime occurs quite often and without prior warning depending on circumstance. The hands-off approach goes a bit too far in that you're not offered guidance when you don't know how to do a certain task. You are expected to find it out yourself which I find lacking for newcomers.

The statement of HMO isn't true -- we've sparred with HMOs where employees were entitled to certain benefits but came out empty. During Covid, I've had 2 employees who needed extended hospitalization, spare oxygen tanks, extra medications which HMO plans didn't cover. I've paid that out of pocket. They would not be alive today. Another example. Spectacles. You know, the eye pieces you see with? Depending on eyewear and kind, you are given up to 20%, with terms and conditions. Only at Polywick Graphics, our company reimburse FULL amount. Do you know any HMO that does that? Previously before that, I've had staff come to work with broken glasses or have to tape one lens on one eye. I had to deal with raised premiums and slow claims processing - employee didn't attach the prescription, or claim that, lenses wasn't medically necessary, or this spectacle shop isn't in our approved list of spectacle shops where this HMO can give rebates, and thus, denied. In other instances, all medical claims were paid promptly, and, despite telling employees to claim, they didn't bother to do so. We reimburse small claims, from PHP 100 to above-mentioned items. For overtime, none of our employees work on Saturdays and Sundays, except office cleaning ladies who comes on Saturdays, several repair persons who comes now and then, who fixes computers during weekends. For over-time above a certain period, we reimburse dinners and hole up employees in the local hotels. I'm not the HR person here, but if you have an overtime, please lodge it to the HR app, and it gets reimbursed. I keep telling that, it gets forgotten.

Not that many benefits and resources for long term growth. So staying in the company long - term is questionable
