Pros

Medical device development is enjoyable work, as your efforts can help others, and it's something different every day.

Cons

Management. HR. Family owned business and run that way. Unless you are a minority of a certain descent, or a woman, advancement is limited.

Pros

- Upper management is very nice and considerate. The director of quality is very flexible with working from home, leaving early, days off, buying lunch for us. etc. - The quality team is awesome. They are all really nice helpful and fun people. - Job is not too intense, can be stressful at times but mostly easy to manage. - Company culture is decent. Groups might go to lunch together, but not a ton of hanging out outside of work from what I've seen. - Opportunities for promotion (atleast within quality) I went from an intern to an associate in three months.

Cons

- No structure for training. This may be personal preference but I prefer a program that has a structured training program/plan. I was trained more sporadically whenever coworkers were available. - Not busy enough. Once again personal preference. There was plenty to do in the overall quality department but I did not have enough assigned to me and grew bored easily. - Lack of transparency about the day to day work in the interview process.
