Great Place to Learn and Grow as a Creative - Senior creative services associate Pop! Promos Employee Review

Pop! Promos has been the best experience. I came from place that was truly awful to work at and have been blown away by how incredible this place is. My coworkers are incredible people, the bosses communicate well and show appreciation for hard work, and the company outlook is great. The home/work life balance is great (work from home two days a week) and they support you in everything you do. They hire from within the company as they have grown and are always communicating decisions that they make. You are promoted after 9-12 months as a sales support and the entire process is transparent. I did not think it was possible to have such a positive experience at work. P.S. the office is dog friendly with snacks and drinks available 24/7!!

It is a fast work environment at times so it takes a certain type of personality to deal with it. Personally, I love it but that may be a con for some people.

The building and a lot of the team are really cool. I also enjoyed the industry in general. There was always something new to explore and keep things fresh.

It felt unnecessarily stressful at times. Work life balance didn't really exist. The expectation was to give five star performance without five star pay. They definitely rely heavily on groupthink/ "team player" mentality to get more out of people than what they're paid for. It is what it is. If you need a job to get started this will probably be ok, But I wouldn't plan on a healthy long-term career here.
