Pros
Great tech stack and development experience, but highly dependent on team. Top tier people to work with, lots of experienced individuals who are very knowledgeable and have been there a long while (5+ years) Great culture and dynamics of most teams. You won't feel overworked here, and managers are excellent from the ones I worked with. 2 stars for these reasons!
Cons
Extremely low pay, at least on the engineering side. Also feels like there may be a huge disparity in pay, because there's no way some of these talented individuals have been here as long as they have without being paid well. Knee jerk reactions to new features, 0 research done before a feature is decided on. Very little analytics on how often something is used. A lot of the work here feels dead in the water as soon as it starts. AI being the latest hype bandwagon the company jumped on, yet internally everyone knows its useless for this company. Layoffs in 2023. Granted, a lot of companies had this so it's not unique to Poppulo. Still worth mentioning. So -3 stars for these reasons!
