Pros
1. The students 2. Size of work and lunch space 3. Movement you make during the workday 4. Intentions of care from staff for the students 5. You can learn a lot while working here
Cons
1. Most staff (except for a few) create an unprofessional, disrespectful, prideful, gossip cultured environment 2. Often are not and often don’t feel physically safe 3. Not supported by your own hired department, other departments more supportive than your own 4. Inconsistent work day/student taken out of class at different days or times weekly. However it’s too hard to have a set time ongoing so it just has to stay that way. 5. Management does little to show staff recognition where it counts 6. Staff quit constantly, high turnover 7. Benefits 8. Expectations unclear and you learn as you work the real expectations
