Pros

You get free tickets to matches. You get to make videos for Apple TV.

Cons

You will be managed by older men who know nothing about either design or soccer. Your tasks will be production requests of the most mundane kind. If and when you ever put fresh, on-trend, creative ideas in front of them it will be dissected and over scrutinized, ignored and forgotten in favor of ‘the way things are done’. If you enjoy working in a basement with no windows and love to be around management that validate their jobs with meetings about meetings while you do their bidding and give them all their ideas to take credit for… then this job is for you. Leadership is compromised of the ones that have stayed around the longest , not the most talented.

Pros

Great front office culture, a really great group of people working towards a common goal.

Cons

Working nights/weekends but that is to be expected in this space!

Pros

The Timbers are deeply connected to the community and their fans, and being part of that energy is both inspiring and rewarding. It’s rare to find a workplace where you can feel this much purpose and excitement behind what you do, and every day feels like you’re contributing to something bigger. The organization has a great culture with supportive and friendly people. There’s a strong sense of teamwork, and it’s clear that everyone cares about what they do. Being part of such a well-known organization with a passionate fanbase and community involvement makes the experience unique and memorable.

Cons

Like all sports organizations, the busy season can mean long hours or an irregular schedule. Work life balance can be challenging at times.
