Around the time you were working for us we made changes to our terms and conditions to ensure fairness across the whole company as some of our newer teams came to us with different T&C's than our existing teams.
This involved changing our break policy so that all colleagues are treated equally and by extending paid shifts to ensure everyone was paid for the time they were at work.
We've had different discounts over the years, some of which have worked and some which haven't, for various reasons. However we continue to offer a generous 40% staff discount to all permanent employees once their probation period is complete.
Temporary staff unfortunately don’t receive a discount, as it’s a benefit reserved for permanent team members.
Our little business has grown and changed a lot in the last couple of years. There were certainly times when this change caused disruption, which in turn caused uneasiness as it meant doing things a bit differently.
We are sorry if you feel this change effected you negatively. While we, of course, want to be successful creating a happy place to work and a happy place to shop for our lovely customers is of paramount importance to us.
You raised some important points in your feedback which we have listened to and we've made lots of changes since your time with us.
We appreciate all the hard work our team puts in and we will continue to strive to be as transparent and fair as possible with our policies.
