Pros

As a lean team with a start up feel, you'll get to know about and be involved in all aspects of the business. From the sale through to implementation and customer success, you'll be across and get involved in all aspects, the longer you work there. You will learn to work in a team like you've never had to before. The industry is fun to work in, and the product itself is top tier. I learnt so much in my time at P2M, you're expected to be self sufficient for the most part, which is great if you like autonomy. Just get your sh*t done, be accountable and always be prepared. Very flexible work arrangements, free food, Friday drinks, a v social team with a work hard play hard attitude.

Cons

As a lean team there's not a whole lot of career development and training. The fact that you are across and involved in so many aspects of the business could be quite a lot if you don't full understand the product and industry. What's expected of you can change month to month.

Pros

- Flexible working options, wok from home if you need to etc - Benefits of the office being in a WeWork eg free coffee, events, beer tap and networking possibilities - reasonable pay and quarterly bonus's if you hit targets - Front end works really well - 24 hour access to the office is handy when you miss your last train, relatively comfortable

Cons

- zero onboarding, zero training ( initial or ongoing) and zero career progression - very limited knowledge across the team. If certain key people left, which happened twice whilst i was there, the knowledge went with them. - the back end of the system is overly complicated. Alongside zero training, meant you just had to learn everything yourself via 'trial and error'. Not ideal when you're dealing with big companies who ( quite rightly) demand a certain level of service. Absolute nightmare to work with on a day to day basis - A certain amount of 'gallows humour' is required to work here. The lack of motivation felt, working for a company called Power2Motivate, was rather ironic

Pros

There are few things in particular that make P2M what it is; The people, the product & the fact that if you get your sh!t done you're treated like an actual adult, meaning you run your own work/life schedule and you're not micromanaged. Everyone who joins P2M is given a fair shot to prove themselves, & to do things they wouldn't get the chance to elsewhere. There's a lot of opportunity to get out of your comfort zone. The good work people do here doesn't go unnoticed - in fact it's always celebrated. It's a work hard play hard culture with a really strong team spirit, with everyone willing to lend a hand to help one another out. It's a culture where you're encouraged to put your hand up to be ambitious and innovative (literally 2 of the company values). For a relatively small business, we work with some big, very well known clients & we get some amazing experience doing this - the whole team does. Other perks of note: • Great office space with free breakfast & awesome coffee • Can bring your dog into work • Lot of good energy and music is played on the Amazon Echo • Fully stocked beer/wine fridges for drinks every Friday

Cons

Given the product is so good and can do so much, it can occasionally be its downfall too. Instead of focusing on a few service offerings and doing it really well (which we do), we can sometimes attempt to do too much & offer too much customisation which can spread us thin, given we're a relatively small team. The service can become diluted as a result. Outside of our industry, we're almost entirely unknown so will we look good on your CV? Doubtful.
