Pros
Friendly group of smart people. Fun even if slightly snobby environment. Great accessibility, next door to the metro, Just off 405 and 10, reimbursement for Metro card. Catered lunches.
Cons
Product management has no say in guiding the company towards a market fit, decisions and directions change on whim with no reasoning offered in the hopes of accidentally finding fit. This has lead to extremely long sales cycles and lost of wasted time and resources working on futile projects. Technology hasn't kept up with times: Archaic software engineering processes, laughably bad focus on quality, passive aggression galore. Sub-par engineering group. What was once a promising company working on the bleeding edge has slipped into a culture of cycle of churning management-appeasing products with zero emphasis on rigor and quality. Opportunity squandered. Last person standing principle for promotions and failing upwards to senior management after core group of A+ players made a beeline to the exit a few years ago. Many in management have no business being there.
