Pros

- Basic Perks of working for most companies (401k, health insurance, PTO)

Cons

Where do I start? This company has an executive team that leads a mantra of not letting you have a life outside of work. They don't care about employee wellbeing. They don't care about your mental health, family, physical health or just whether you get to eat food. Their CEO monitors and controls employees like no other I have ever witnessed. They don't pay employees for overtime and often throw each other under the bus. Everyone has to listen to the founder who seems to know everything better than those who he employs. If you are an expert with highest credentials, he doesn't care he knows better. This company has leadership that will guarantee drive itself into the ground. When I worked here I was met with discrimination as well. I believe this company can and will one day be sued for this. I warn anyone who works here to begin applying outside immediately.

Pros

Cool tech, strong science, and pharma partnerships. Growing number of high-profile publications. Great benefits, especially the rare month-long paid sabbatical.

Cons

Still building out processes and quality systems—typical startup growing pains.

Pros

Free Lunch and possibility to learn lots of new things.

Cons

TOXIC WORKING ENVIRONMENT FROM CEO THIS YEAR Leadership Style: Management relies on extreme micromanagement and rigid, unnecessary rules that hinder productivity. Stagnant Pay: Expect to be underpaid, with little to no hope for annual raises or bonuses. Zero Boundaries: Work-life balance is non-existent. You are expected to be on call 24/7, including weekends and scheduled time off/Vacation. Perks Vanished: All previous benefits, from small snacks to team-building events, have been cut, leaving a very sterile and unrewarding environment.
