Pros
My experience with PLS was mostly a good one for a few reasons: 1. I had a lot of freedom around my responsibilties. As long as I completed my work on time and to the level of excellence expected I didnt feel micro managed. 2. I was able to work from home 90% of the time, which was great. 3. Although demanding, my boss never had expectations of me that she didnt already know I could meet, even if I didnt think I could do all the work on my plate. I grew as a person and employee while working at PLS. I really loved working for Jennifer even if at times it was challenging. She is smart, inspiring and has accomplished so much for someone her age.
Cons
You were kept in the dark about a lot of what you were working on and why. Often times I couldnt see the big picture (it seemed hidden) and that was frustrating and un-inspiring. Transparency is important so employees stay committed and feel valued (and not left to fill in the blanks with their own creativity). Ultimately that was one of the main reasons I left, I wasnt sure what I was working towards any more.
