The role provided valuable experience in navigating a financially challenging environment, with opportunities to take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities. While the overall culture was difficult, I did have supportive coworkers who made certain aspects of the job more manageable. Additionally, there was some flexibility in the daily work schedule, which helped balance the workload.

I worked at Preferred Precision Group as a Director of Finance, and my experience was disappointing. The company was struggling financially, making it difficult to do my job effectively. Leadership calls often felt unproductive, and communication was inconsistent. The CEO lacked direction and accountability, relying on short-term fixes and avoiding tough decisions. This trickled down throughout the company, causing confusion and inefficiency. Additionally, there was no proper HR oversight, and workplace policies were frequently ignored, leaving employees without the necessary support. While some coworkers were helpful, the overall culture was draining. The CEO's "no drama" and "family atmosphere" mentality was not reflected in their actions, and hearing negative comments after my departure added to the frustration. If you’re considering working here, be prepared for instability and frustration. The company has a long way to go to become a healthy and sustainable workplace.
