Pros

Dress down, close to station, nice clients. Two or three very knowledgeable members of staff.

Cons

My review is for the pension and employee benefits .Senior management not in touch with employees and ignore issues, high turnover of staff , employees leave or sacked on very dubious and not legal grounds. Management come and go as they please, extended breaks, last minute working from home days and frequent trips to the bookies and expect employees to pick up the slack. Managers have no real accountability to senior management . Manager has been seen to shout at staff members. Pass off employees work as there own to clients. Wouldn't recommend this organisation to anyone.

Pros

Client focused - win lots of awards. Think outside the box and not afraid to do things differently. Market leading Admin & first class chartered IFA business. Other highly effective and complimentary services provided. Led by a management team who genuinely care about clients and staff (ask to see client and employee satisfaction surveys - possibly the best in the industry). Hold Institute of Customer Service accreditation mark - very rare for this industry.

Cons

Rapidly growing business with a future means more office moves planned? That was (and is) hassle. More staff rest areas?

Pros

Staff here are incredibly supportive and family-like. There is less bureaucracy and back-biting that you find at most of the larger corporates. Senior management are open to ideas from staff and the board are actively involved in day-to-day operations. Work happens in a large open-plan office with senior management and board members in 'the thick of it' and accessible to all. Because there aren't layers and layers of management, projects progress quickly and people are given responsibility and autonomy. It's right by the station so my commute is easy and the new Boxpark which is opposite is a nice place for lunch.

Cons

The building gets quite warm in summer.
