Pros

At the school level, administrative and teaching staff are motivated and passionate, and dedicated to the role of educating children in what can be a challenging environment.

Cons

Upper level administration, despite their words of "vision", etc. seem constantly focused on cost-cutting, to the extent that they would rather do a job twice (poorly, but cheaply) than a job that costs a bit more, but will last, a philosophy that shows in areas like building renovation and student initiatives. Standardized testing and results that can be touted as marketing publicity seem more important than the true goal of a quality education. This also shows in hiring fresh new teachers and staff whose drive and personal obligations to students is exploited, when it should be rewarded.

Pros

An amazing culture. Helping children grow their brain every day. Amazing team. Amazing management

Cons

Compensation. Due to being a grant funded school, the compensation is not the greatest.

Pros

The beginning of the school year is always enjoyable but the 2nd to the 3rd quarter is always stressful.

Cons

Administration not holding parents accountable for their child’s academic and putting that weight on the teacher. Showing favoritism, and lack of support. Feedback seems to be always negative. Job description does not match the overall work of the teachers.
