I started at Printify 2 years ago and I was truly happy to be there, amazing people, great challenges, nice perks, and tons of things to learn. When I started there was this magic and energy of an amazing working culture - transparent, brave, bold, honest, and humble. But as we know culture = people. People change, and they bring a new culture with them. Unfortunately for Printify, the culture that was brought on board appeared to be highly toxic. The new culture is a culture of ego. It is about politics and regime. Simply saying, you can't disagree with leadership. A top-down approach is driven by opportunism. Lack of strategy, long-term thinking, and research. Company strategy may shift multiple times in a year. Huge projects get started without understanding the reason behind them, employees get pushed to burnout to satisfy ambitions. Though it will be fair to mention, that there are still people that are doing good things (like those who introduced well-being days off).
