Terrible place to work - would never hire for my own family to be transported - Patient Transfer Attendant Priority Patient Transfer Service Employee Review
Very nice atmosphere, surrounded by good people for the most part. Friendly and welcoming to all
Cons
First off, the wage is fake. Everything from the truck repairs to the shift management is a mess, went in for a $21.5/hr wage and they convinced me it’d add up to it with overtime and bonuses. No, I’m making 17.5 an hour. I tried to work overtime and they eventually stoped giving me the full week of shifts so they can avoid overtime pay. It’s an extremely expensive service. I hear complaints on expenses all the time and somehow we make back only a tiny fraction of what we make for the company. Where’s the money go? Not the trucks. Not the wheelchairs. Sure as heck isn’t the fake advertised wage.
- good experience for healthcare students
- interacting with patients
- 12 hr shifts
Cons
-anti-union, fire employees who express interest in unionizing
-do not care about patient safety, the number one thing is always profit
-cliquey, insubordinate staff
-upper management very disorganized
-so much more, just run!
