Pros

proSapient emphasizes training and iteration. I appreciate the transparency from upper management about where the company is and where it is heading. proSapient seeks to create a culture of radical urgency :)

Cons

While outwardly, proSapient projects itself as open to suggestions (founder Jordan Shlosberg and a few others genuinely uphold this), some people who have been repeatedly promoted by proSapient do not embody this. My team lead got upset at the slightest differences in opinion and did not create a team culture of trust or safety. Associates and Senior Associates talk quietly about their concerns after work hours. In practice, proSapient's culture feels compartmentalized and many employees do not speak openly. I feel proSapient strives for a positive culture, but has not yet found one. KPIs at proSapient largely fail to account for nuance. This incentivizes employees to prioritize short term results to game the KPIs, while taking actions that may not be beneficial for their teammates or for the long term success of the company.

Pros

My time at proSapient has been incredibly formative - both professionally and personally. I joined right out of college without much knowledge of expert networking, and over the years I’ve been given opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges across multiple roles. The company truly rewards curiosity and initiative; if you raise your hand for something new, you’ll have the chance to run with it. The culture is collaborative, fast-paced, and filled with smart, motivated people who genuinely care about their work and each other. Leadership fosters an environment where feedback is heard and personal development is supported. I felt valued, trusted, and encouraged to bring my authentic self to work.

Cons

Like any growing company, there can be periods of fast change and evolving priorities, which can sometimes feel challenging to navigate. But in my experience, those moments also came with opportunities to step up and learn.
