Pros

Schedules are flexible, but that works both ways...they'll email and/or call you at all hours of the day and night, trying to persuade you to log in and work, even if it's just one report.

Cons

Pay is low and dictation quality is low. But worst of all, they actively over-hire for their accounts, which means MTs are fighting to get any work at all. The company ends up with a great TAT to boast about to their clients, but the MTs are left unable to pay bills.

Pros

Great staff and supportive. Always helpful with questions and suggestions. Very personal. Great accounts.

Cons

Pay per line is lower. The platform could be a little faster. Other than that, it is a great place to work for.

Pros

Ultimate schedule flexibility, as MTs are hired as statutory employees (similar to IC), so management does not set concrete quotas or schedules. Also, their transcription platform is a proprietary system that is amazing to work in. The fact the Proscript pays lower than most MTSOs to start is very quickly offset by the amount of work that can be produced per pay period. This means that I actually come out better with this company that I have with other companies that paid more than Proscript

Cons

The only places for improvement that I have seen are very, very minimal. The first is the training videos and quizzes. Any MT with years of experience are going to know the answer to anything on the quizzes, and the only area with a learning curve ends up being comfortable and confident with using their proprietary system. Once you learn the platform, you can take advantage of pre-filled headings and a good VR system. The problem I mentioned is that the training is not crazy intensive or lengthy, nor is it personal. It is a prerecorded course on Proscribe, their platform. A virtual classroom setting with around 15-16 new hires per training class would be more beneficial.
