Pros

They will hire literally anyone to take the emt course.

Cons

Management has no idea what it's doing. The company is literally hemorrhaging money and in danger of filing bankruptcy because they don't hold their employees accountable for their actions. If you inconvenience them they will find a reason to fire you. They laid off their entire command staff and put people in charge that had no idea how to run an ambulance company. Standard Operating Procedure means absolutely nothing to them. They disregard it whenever it is convenient. They regularly find reasons not to give their employees raises. EMTs are constantly forced to go out on the street with sub par equipment and they just have to make do because the management has no idea what they're doing and they have to cut corners because they are lacking funds. The employees are taken for granted and considered completely expendable. Advancement in the company literally depends on how well you can suck up. Even then it doesn't get you far.
