Pros

It's in NYC, so you can quickly bounce from this place to another one, where a future is actually possible.

Cons

Absolutely horrendous work life balance. It brands itself as a start-up but inner workings is more like a corporate firm. It expects you to work to the bone with sub-par compensation. You can easily find a higher paying job elsewhere in NY.

Pros

The company is a great group of people to work with. There's a big emphasis on finding the right fit in new hires. The environment is generally fun and collaborative but requires a significant amount of self-motivation. The technology and services provided by the company to its clients are truly valuable, and are likely to drive where the industry is heading in the future. The business model is compelling and the application of the analytics will change much more than simple display ads. Currently, the company is at a crucial inflection point, so the opportunities are available for those who can take on the challenge.

Cons

The lean team is great for fostering a tight knit group, but requires everyone to have fingers in many pots. As such, the learning curve is very steep and requires a good degree of intuition and the ability to pick up quickly. The company offers high performance analytics, and similarly expects consistently high performance of its employees. Like any start-up mentality, it doesn't matter how you get it done, as long as it gets done. This affords leeway in how employees can work, but ultimately will lead to some longer days and work to be done over the weekend. The work is plenty and fast paced. Employees need to manage their time effectively and have tough skin. These challenges could be the greatest draw for the right people.
