Pros

- Remote first (freedom to be you and work from wherever makes you the most productive) - Freedom to own what you do (it's a startup so there's a lot of freedom to take ownership on an idea that you think is going to provide value and run with it) -Collaboration (even though we are remote we are not alone in what we do. I have felt more unison with my remote team members than I have at other startups working in the same building) - Value (it's very rewarding to see how potential/onboarded customers react to the service we provide as magic because of the value we provide)

Cons

No cons but more so an expectation to understand. It's a grind. It's a startup so I find myself wearing different hats but that's what I came to do. This is one of the few places's in my 10+ year career where every day I look forward to working because of the people and work I do.

Pros

Great people, great culture, have people who are passionate about what they do and want you and the company to grow.

Cons

Job is fully remote so you don't see people as often. People are also in different time zones so your work hours are not always your typical 9-5.

Pros

- "Preventing Burnout" is a motivating mission. - PTO is unlimited, and management actively encourages you to take it. - Fully remote *before* the pandemic: from the beginning, ProdPerfect believed in sourcing talent from anywhere, and letting them work on their own terms. - Dynamic: departments don't limit where you can contribute. - I've seen requests from employees at all levels translate to thoughtful action with demonstrable results. For example, recent conversations about how we justify salaries led to an industry benchmarking exercise, with individuals' salary and equity compensation increased when appropriate (no one adjusted down).

Cons

- Growth has come in fits and starts. We have had a couple rounds of layoffs, partly because of the pandemic, but partly because we hired too aggressively in periods of growth. Could have been avoided. - Day-to-day operations can feel chaotic. Lots of systems are built out of quick fixes on top of patches on top of hacks. It's par for the course in startups, but it would be nice to have a bit more operational discipline, a bit less frenetic decision-making.
