Pros

- Due to the company size, there is a lot of opportunities to learn and take on various tasks to feel like you are making a contribution. - The team is absolutely wonderful to work with, very busy but comitted people - if you need help, there is always someone who will "make" the time to help you out. - Teaching staff come from all over the world and that makes the job really interesting. For somebody who is curious of the world, languages & cultures it does not feel like work - you simply want to be part of it. - The management is really understanding on change of personal circumstances and supportive as much as viable

Cons

- Maybe sometimes fresh ideas aren't fully explored or implemented quickly enough, having more of a "let's give that a go" mindset could be quite beneficial and intrinsically motivating. - Investing in the team to promote language learning internally could be a good thing to bring back (it used to be there), it would really help them developing a passion for what they do.

Pros

I have worked for PLS for about 2 years. The pros are the students you work with they are pleasant to teach and are receptive to the tuition.

Cons

The teachers have a zero hours contract in place it means that on a number of months you can have a little amount of work. This was due to the fact that the managers clearly have their favourite teachers. I requested from the Management to see my zero hours contract on a number of occasions without any response. I had a serious problem with PLS in that last year I was deducted the complete incorrect amount of income tax and it was only discovered 12 months later when I received the refund from HMRC tax office. Clearly PLS accounts system is not being operated professionally.
