Toxic - Architect Progressive Companies Employee Review

Pros

You will gain experience relevant to your career.

Cons

This company rebranded and was formerly known as Progressive AE. Please refer to Progressive AE's Glassdoor reviews for a better understanding of the company prior to accepting a position. Leadership at PAE has little to no healthy management traits to teach anyone aspiring to manage others in their career. Expect to have a very unhealthy work to personal life ratio. You can also expect this toxic workplace to begin to negatively effect what little personal time you do get. The extreme efforts to create a "one office" culture in a company with two distant offices, specifically during and post covid, is ineffective and ironically the start of PAE's downfall. Even long standing employees are beginning to find opportunities elsewhere. Take that as a strong sign from the experienced. Only consider working here as a last resort, and don't get too comfortable if you do; they tend to go through firing phases periodically.

Pros

The firm as a whole in the Charlotte office has amazing people.

Cons

- Will not hire adequate staff to balance out workloads. - Compensation appears to lag behind market standards, with professionals in comparable roles and experience levels at other firms earning approximately $6K–$10K more. - There is a perception that internal promotions are not a current priority.
