Nepotism and Financial Disaster - Progressive Management Systems Progressive Management Systems Employee Review

Pros

Monthly goal lunches are rewarded when the office hits their quota. However due to "budget issues" many incentives have been removed.

Cons

The company is losing its touch as employees are resigning or being laid off as financial turmoil is overwhelming the office. Employees are overworked and understaffed with no end in sight. Mandatory hybrid work is now implemented after working 3+ years full remote. Their attempt to control back their employees is backfiring as employees are not putting the effort. Nepotism has also been an issue for many years as family members are employed and given promotions while others are held back. Gatekeeping has occurred to multiple employees and have caused tension in the workplace. The monthly goals have also been unjust for years as teams fail to hit unrealistic goals and as a result, commission was not provided. Some employees are also microaggressive and condescending while supervisors and managers have nitpick episodes throughout the year. These factors have caused anxiety, uncertainty and toxicity in the office. Think twice before you apply.

Pros

When goal is hit you get free lunch, laid back atmosphere, dress code fairly lax, easy going place. Managers have a pretty open door but be mindful what you share.

Cons

Not open to change, LOTS of nepotism from the Executive level, Director, Manager, Supervisor, lead, and front line employee levels. If you have been there for awhile rules do not apply, management is definitely afraid to rock the boat with senior staff, regardless of supervisory responsibility. If you're looking for a job to get in out no relationships whatsoever you may enjoy. Lots of gossip more than typical work environment, very heavy emphasis on friendship over work.
