In this case, we made every effort to stay in contact with the individual and supported them during a difficult personal time. Despite a sudden and unexplained absence of the employee (2 weeks of MIA), once we reconnected—nearly two months later—we promptly issued full payment for hours worked via Zelle, well before this review was posted. Our records (text chats and Zelle payment confirmations) confirm timely compensation was provided.
While we deeply regret the personal challenges the individual faced, we stand by our commitment to ethical practices and treating people with compassion.
