Nonprofit gaslights and ends volunteer opportunity for honesty in a survey due to their lack of professionalism and misconduct. Project Sunshine is all for good reviews only. They have you go through a long process to become a volunteer. You do all the steps. They tell you you're approved and have to wait to find a location. You wait months for responses to your inquiries about updates. Locations and times are found, you respond and are ignored. Then are given a survey to fill out regarding their conduct. You tell the truth. The survey is an attempt to get good reviews but the moment you tell the truth about your experience they decide to setup a double teamed video call, that was supposed to be about volunteering, and instead attempt to blame you for a lack of professionalism and misconduct IN A PRIVATE SURVEY and decide that based on your experience, caused by them, you are no longer allowed to be a volunteer. I was ignored, made to do background checks, interviews, online programs, created space for them in my schedule and because I left a review, that was requested (as a slap in the face for not getting any work) I am the problem. This place is pathetic. E. will blatantly, over the phone, blame the company and other entities for not being professional and responsive but then cower and have her supervisor do her dirty work to let you go. Wasted time and energy. All because my review wasn't up to their standards, standards that were not applied to me during the whole process. If I was a paid employee I could sue for a confidentiality breach as well as unlawful termination due to using my experience in a PRIVATE survey against me. They attempt to silence you because of their behavior, gaslight, and make it seem as if you are the issue when you are only responding to their lack of professionalism.
