Pros

ProjectArt embodies the essence of community support by providing art classes to children who lack access to such programs in their schools. The inclusion of social practice and racial healing training showcases the organization's commitment to equity and inclusivity. The management team's hard work ensures fair compensation for staff and maintains a supportive work environment. The overwhelming support from students, parents, and librarians underscores the invaluable impact of ProjectArt's programs on the community.

Cons

To ensure classroom safety and alleviate the workload on current staff, there is a need for increased support and resources.

Pros

ProjectArt offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children. The organization provides free, high-quality art classes to children who wouldn't otherwise have access, and the impact on these kids is truly remarkable. The resident teaching artists are passionate and dedicated, and they create a supportive and encouraging environment for children to explore their creativity. Working at ProjectArt was a rewarding experience, and I learned a lot from both my colleagues and the children I worked with. If you're looking for a job where you can make a positive impact and be part of a supportive team, ProjectArt is a great place to work.

Cons

I found all good experiences here.

Pros

Exposure for artists. Able to teach techniques and art lessons that inner city youth may not otherwise have opportunities to learn.

Cons

Really, it could be a bigger program with more exposure. Partnerships may help with more exposure and funds for supplies, but not sure of the backend.
