Pros

The junior staff members here are a real highlight. They bring a contagious energy to the workplace, and their drive to improve and learn is admirable. They demonstrate a genuine passion for their work, which is certainly promising for the future of the company. The client work is interesting and could be incredibly impactful.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are significant challenges that cast a shadow over these positive aspects. One of the most pressing issues is the plummeting morale among employees. The departure of 4 senior leaders over the past year has created an unsettling atmosphere of instability and mistrust. The lack of transparency surrounding recent promotions is particularly disheartening, especially considering the absence of performance reviews over the past year. Many of us were told that performance evaluations/promotions would not take place until the reorganization was complete, making the lack of clarity around promotions all the more baffling. Furthermore, the company seems to have disregarded the importance of coaching and mentoring. Despite the evident potential in the junior staff, there is a noticeable absence of effective guidance--instead senior leaders micromanage the work. This absence of mentorship impacts both individual growth and the overall cohesiveness of the team. Adding to these concerns is the lack of transparency about the size of the business and the absence of a board of directors. This results in a notable lack of oversight and accountability. The absence of clear leadership and governance mechanisms makes it difficult for employees to trust that decisions are being made in their best interest and in the interest of the company's success. It's worth noting that the clients we serve have a genuine desire to achieve exceptional work. However, there seems to be a misalignment between their aspirations and the company's current state. Despite the talented and eager staff, the absence of proper resources, mentorship, and a clear strategic direction has hindered our ability to deliver the level of excellence that both clients and employees strive for and deserve. Perhaps the most concerning statistic is the attrition rate, which exceeds 50%. Such a high attrition rate, even for an agency, is cause for serious concern. The concentration of this attrition within a single team is a clear indication that there are specific issues that need to be urgently addressed. In conclusion, while the company boasts a group of talented and enthusiastic junior staff members, the current state of affairs raises significant concerns. The shattered trust due to senior leader departures, lack of transparency regarding promotions, inadequate coaching and mentoring, and the absence of oversight and accountability mechanisms have contributed to an environment with dwindling morale and a shockingly high attrition rate. Addressing these issues promptly, transparently, and with a commitment to fostering a healthier work environment and strategic alignment will be crucial for the company's future success and the retention of its promising junior staff.

Pros

PD does good work and there are a few people who want to make a difference.

Cons

The turnover is high, struggle with getting/keeping clients. People in the industry don't particular like working with them. Recently a friend interviewed and said that the interview process wasn't good and it makes sense.
