Pros

The contract customers and the customer's leadership.

Cons

Very toxic. Owner is in it for himself and the money. No one is treated equally. Different rules and salary for different people. The company picks and chooses their favorites.

We appreciate feedback from our team members, regardless of the circumstances under which they were separated from the company. We are always eager to receive feedback (negative or positive) when it is constructive and true, unfortunately the feedback in this post does not fall into either of those categories. Our culture, guided by the Owner's principle of "People First, Mission Always," emphasizes the importance of investing in our employees. This includes providing benefits, professional development, career advancement, and market based financial incentives. Often investments are made with the understanding that they will not directly benefit the company financially, but the Owner believes they are essential for fostering a supportive work environment. PSI strictly adheres to EEO, Non-Discrimination, and policies, laws, and regulations, and treats employees equally. PSI follows compensation practices that ensure pay parity based on location, job requirements, and qualifications which are also flowed down to down to our subcontractors. Transparency and fairness are fundamental to our values, and we regularly train and coach our leaders to ensure they understand and uphold these policies and practices. We also maintain an open-door policy, encouraging employees to bring their concerns to HR or any level of management. PSI is one of the most diverse in the industry, with over 54% of our employees and leadership coming from ethnically diverse backgrounds. More than 52% of our leadership team is female, and nearly 50% of our workforce are veterans. We are able to maintain a diverse workforce because we treat everyone equally, please see our EEO statistics here: (https://www.protectionsi.com/careers/ . Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would appreciate the opportunity to address any specific examples you may have that support the concerns you raised and work towards a resolution. Please reach out to our HR Manager at ksalassi@protectionsi.com.

Pros

I feel valued and included even as a new hire. The support and communication have made the transition smooth and encouraging.

Cons

Nothing significant yet. I’m still early in the process but very impressed.

Pros

Leadership that’s actually present and hands-on- The leaders here don’t just sit in offices and send emails. They’re accessible, involved, and take real pride in mentoring employees. I’ve had managers spend time walking me through new responsibilities, helping me map out a career path, and checking in regularly to make sure I have what I need to succeed. A culture that cares about employees as people- You’re not treated like a number. When personal or professional challenges come up, people listen and try to help. There’s a real emphasis on doing the right thing and taking care of the team, not just hitting metrics. Back office that actually makes your life easier- HR, admin, and other back office staff go out of their way to support you—whether it’s paperwork, scheduling, benefits questions, or solving small problems before they become big ones. You don’t feel like you’re “bothering” anyone when you ask for help. Small, tight-knit team that jumps in wherever needed- It’s a small team environment where everyone wears multiple hats. If something needs to get done, people step up—whether it’s “their job” or not. That creates a strong sense of trust and shared responsibility. “One team, one fight” mindset- There’s a real feeling that we’re all on the same side: leadership, employees, and support staff. Wins are shared, and when there are challenges, people pull together instead of pointing fingers.

Cons

Because it’s a smaller, all-hands-on-deck environment, the pace can be fast and priorities can shift quickly. It’s a great fit if you like being challenged and staying flexible, but it might feel intense for someone who prefers a very rigid, predictable day-to-day.
