Pros

- Cutting edge tech - Little red tape - Industry-leaders creating a novel product - Exciting, challenging tech problems - Motivated & smart coworkers - Typical startup pros: wear lots of hats, shape company culture/direction/product, lots of pride in the work we do

Cons

Typical startup cons - compensation is fair but not crazy - benefits are enough but not top-tier - office space & hardware (while mostly WFH) are not terrible but definitely not a selling point

Pros

The culture of the company comes from the top down. I have worked for Corporate America most of my working career and ProvenAir differs in so many positive ways. Everyone is focused on the company and each member of the company succeeding. The climate is positive, nurturing, but challenging. There is a lot to do and a lot to know, but we all know that we are in this together and work together to get it done. The management staff wants everyone to enjoy what they do and are committed to creating an environment that values individual development and professional growth. We are introducing a new methodology to the aviation industry. We are learning together and seeing how something that started out small is now being recognized as very beneficial to the industry. As we are being recognized, we are growing which is an exciting thing to be part of. The flexibility and working remotely is the definite plus.

Cons

We are a relatively a new company, learning as we go. We at times wear many different hats. However, as we grow we are become more specialized in our responsibilities. Being a startup company has been a challenge at times, especially with the pandemic, but it appears to be past us now as the aviation industry picks up.
