Pros

- The initial onboarding process was smooth. - HR and recruiting were friendly. - Remote work.

Cons

Unrealistic Expectations and Lack of Support: - I was tasked with changing the website's appearance, functionality, and messaging, a project that required significant time and effort. Despite explaining in a team meeting that this type of project typically would take more than a few weeks and would have a team working on it, management insisted on an unrealistic deadline for the new appearance and revised messaging. - I worked overtime to meet these demands, yet the constant changes in the plan and lack of additional support made it impossible to achieve the expected results. Undermining and Exclusion: - I discovered that my work was being duplicated and altered by another team member without my knowledge. Despite my role as the Marketing and Website Manager, I was excluded from crucial discussions and decisions about the website project. - My concerns were dismissed, and the management team, including the marketing team, did not value my professional assessment or include me in subsequent meetings, undermining my role and responsibilities. Lack of Communication and Transparency: - Communication was severely lacking. Important decisions about the website redesign were made without my involvement, leaving me in the dark and unable to perform my duties effectively. - I was not given any feedback or warnings about my performance, making my eventual dismissal a complete shock (though it was honestly welcomed and a relief to be out of this horrible work environment). The reasons cited were vague and did not reflect my actual work or contributions. Unprofessional Behavior: - The constant exclusion from meetings and decision-making processes created a hostile and unprofessional work environment. Despite my repeated requests to be included, my input was ignored, and I was purposefully kept out of the loop. - On multiple occasions, my manager bypassed me and sought third parties for tasks that were my responsibility, further isolating me from the team. Overall: My experience at Provenir was extremely disappointing. The toxic work environment, poor management, and lack of communication made it impossible to perform my role effectively. I would not recommend this company to potential job seekers.

Pros

Colleagues at same peer level and job function are nice

Cons

Massive and frequent turnover in Sales. The US Sales Team and BDR Team turned over 3-4x in very short time periods. There is zero marketing and business development support and as a result no brand recognition which consequently prevents the business from scaling at all. Business Development Leadership has never successfully build outreach campaigns that work. Lone sales reps must do all prospecting and all account management/customer support with very limited tools and resources. Customer success model is undefined, difficult, and extremely time consuming, leaving no time for true prospecting, setting up both customers and sales reps for failure. Product roadmap and market position changes constantly. GM of North America does not hold meetings, no shows 1:1s, and offers little support and inspiration despite assurances "I am here to support!" Do not recommend.
