      Pros

      Good for experience if you’re new to industry. Money is good once developed.

      Cons

      Constantly have to find your own clients and the rent is pretty high. Not allowed to advertise yourself. And it seems managers are more concerned with classes and cleaning Rota than supporting your business.

      Pros

      The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

      Cons

      Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
