Pros

Open, creative, family-like environment that supports growth and working together to develop a vision that will sustain in the current market. They encourage imagination and aim for everyone to succeed at what it is to which they aspire. It's been a real chance to explore my own abilities to lead and discover my own skills and develop them further. It's a small office, full of people really committed to success, but not at the cost of individual health and satisfaction.

Cons

It's a start-up environment, and therefore, requires some diligent self-management and real commitment to out-of-the-box thinking and focus on details. The teams are extremely small, which means there's not a lot of shoulders for the pressure to fall upon.

Pros

In my short time I've experienced a small, incredibly hard working group of people that interact like family. There are, of course, frustrations here and there, but at the end of the day everyone's running to grab a beer for happy hour together. I can't speak for everyone, but my thoughts and opinions have generally be listened to and I've experienced very little micro-management. This is is a growing company that took me in from a totally different career, because they recognized my potential. That means a lot to me.

Cons

No roller skating rink in office. Store across street costs and arm and a leg to buy food at. I'm still fighting for "No Pants Day". Will update accordingly.

Pros

Working in a start up is hard. But, we're all very passionate about bringing good design into homes and helping people make their space truly their own. - Passion - A very caring CEO who would fight tooth and nail for his employees - Beautiful location - Extremely collaborative environment - Ability to take chances I'm saddened to see past employees write negative reviews based on emotions instead of facts. The truth is we all try to sit near each other not for micromanaging, but because it's a highly collaborative and communicative environment.

Cons

It's a start up. It's hard. You have to take a pay cut because you believe in the company. Everyone knows this coming in. Sometimes it is a bit hard to take breaks. But, thats up to the employee to set work/life balance. We get emotional. It's a start up. But, we also get over it. Kind of annoying commute.
