Pros

Staff Food - Pizza or/ and salad. Waiting staff and chefs were polite and friendly.

I have put together the following points to highlight some (not all) of the things I found not quite right / fair / acceptable during my time spent working at Purezza: 1. Lack of training, hindering professional growth. 2. I was made feel bad after every mistake I made instead of being given a constructive criticism. 3. The general manager would avoid talking to me or even make an eye contact to acknowledge that I am around the whole day when on shift. 4. Basic courtesy words like thank you and please were words I almost never heard coming from the manager. 5. When asked about how something works or where something is I would be given curt answers or would just get rudely pointed at the thing I was looking for. 6. There was an instance of a negative written review about the management by the customer saying that the managers at the restaurant were rude, which when was then read by the manager, they said it must be fake, formed and submitted by an AI. 7. General manager often spoke in their mother tongue with another member of staff - on several occasion I heard my name mentioned within their conversation not knowing the implications. 8. A KP from an agency once approached me being all apologetic and almost afraid to ask if it’s okay for them to go to the bathroom, which made me think if that’s because they also might have been treated poorly at this restaurant. 9. I was once angrily shouted across the restaurant full of customers over a minor task. 10. I was never checked-in on how I was getting on with the job. 11. I would be pushed to get things done faster when closing by getting comments such as ‘What are you still doing?’ despite trying my best to get the closing tasks done quickly and properly. 12. I would often receive a derisive treatment when I asked a question about something I wasn’t sure about. 13. On one evening, a happy customer went the extra mile to give in person positive feedback to the manager about my service. Then at the end of the shift instead of the manager feeding back to me I got told off for ordering too much staff food instead. (Although another member of staff ordered the same amount the same day and nothing was said to them.) 14. I tried really hard, and I know I made mistakes along the learning process but even when I improved my knowledge of the menu, the system and overall efficiency, nothing ever seemed to be good enough still and the manager would keep finding the smallest things just to get another opportunity to tell me off. Overall, this was by far the worst working experience of my life. I felt isolated, disrespected and often so anxious to even move, say or ask anything. I hope my feedback will help to improve the working conditions at Purezza Brighton, or at least will spare some people who are looking for job their time and mental wellbeing.

Pros

Company Christmas Party and pay was ok That is probably all that is good.

Cons

The company sold a false dream to their employees, they would promise big things for their future and never came through. Managers aren't nice people at all and all in all just not good vibes.
