Pros
I've been working a Pyrofex for several months. Previously I worked for a very large company. Working at Pyrofex is like a breath of fresh air in comparison.

* Located in a beautiful area with a moderate cost of living.
* Opportunities for travel
* Small company means little red-tape or bureaucracy. It's easy to get things done.
* 100% paid health insurance
Cons
* Because it's a startup there is some insecurity
* Much of the workforce works remotely, so you can't always interact with other team members in person. There is a lot of video conferencing, email, and instant messaging.
* Timezone differences can result in odd working hours to interact with other team members.
* There's little in superfluous benefits, e.g. no 401K etc.
