Pros

Excited and engaged team working towards making a great game. Management cares about employees. They understand having a personal life and don't crunch or practice "bums in seats" management. Office is nice and modern, but they are flexible about working from home.

Cons

Management is experienced, but a few people on the team are junior and on a learning curve. Still defining policies on many things so you sometimes find out that a question you have doesn't have an answer yet, but they usually will address based on urgency and priority.

Pros

Great flexibility, tons of learning opportunities, no office politics (and if so, that eventually gets shut down). Management has no problems letting people go if they don't contribute and just cause problems with their behavior. No favoritism, anyone can be heard here without worry of subtle or outright backlash. I've had a lot of different jobs, and bosses, and upper management and it is usually just a snake pit one way or another. This is the first place in very very long time where I don't have to worry about that stuff anymore.

Cons

Can get hectic and feel unorganized at times, but Nik does listen, and is willing to try things out to make things better for everyone. It is a work in progress and has been getting better over time.

Pros

Helped me break into the industry Easy money

Cons

Inexperienced management CEO in a position he shouldn't be Constant drama Poor decision making Let me start off by saying, this was my first job in the games industry, and it almost made me quit completely. I started the job in mid 2021, things looked promising but warning signs quickly began to appear with management. There was no structure to work hours, I would find myself working 14 hours a day at times pushing hard for an upcoming release. There is a lot I can say about this company, not a lot good at this point. The game they are making showed some real potential. A lot of the better talent has already parted ways with the company via means of being let go for no real reason or outright quitting. This company comes off more like an independent game mod project than it does a real studio, and now they are rapidly attempting to shift into a direction which just looks more like corpo larping than it does actual meaningful change. Nothing but rampant backstabbing, office drama and grand empty promises of meaningful change that never comes.
