Pros
Quadra is a private, medium, family-owned business. I think they do a really good job of treating people with care, and focusing on "winning together" by having fun and valuing the contributions of each individual. They've been in business for 50 years, and never had a layoff. Many people have chosen Quadra as a career-company - often working there for decades, and maybe not even working anywhere else in their career.
Cons
People genuinely enjoy working here - so they don't leave. There's not much vertical mobility (high performers regularly wait 5-10 years for their "turn" to take a meaningful promotion), and the company is very conservative about diagonal movement (i.e. you either need to wait for your turn in line A, or you need to move laterally to line B and hope this line moves faster). This is even the case for people that have had relevant experience outside of the company before getting there - if you did underwater-basket weaving at another company, and you want to skip the basket-weaving step in the career progression at Quadra, that's a hard sell.
