The leadership could be better sometimes.

Working outdoors and learning about geophysical surveys. Travelling to interesting areas of Canada and the world. Being able to drive all sorts of off terrain vehicles.

Disorganized. The shop is a mess and it leads to having poor equipment being sent out in the field, or sometimes not sending some of the gear at all. Very little connection between field workers and those in the office. Too many alcoholics and potheads playing with electricity. They continue to have old drunks working in the field who are either physically incapable of some work or are a liability, or both. Research and development staff do not seem to be advancing any technological aspects of the surveys.
