      Pros

      Product Company! Leadership in Indian Development Center was amazing. It was a bunch of real hardcore techies. Was having Less process in place, hence there was more room for creativity. There was an environment which fosters imagination and creativity. Still you will be able to work with some great technical people.

      Cons

      Now it is becoming more or less like a service company. Will not be able to work on the latest technologies. No HR process or policies in place. Total lack of trainings, be it personnel or professional. Politics is on the rise.

      Pros

      Now as a part of HID global, the rampant verbal abuse and disregard for any semblance of work-life balance might be slightly better. 3 weeks vacation is now standard, after having only 2 weeks!!! in previous years.

      Cons

      Utterly inept leadership, no vision for the product or company could ever be found. You will be blamed individually for the utterly broken organization, which can only produce one fire drill after the last. Showing up at the office having not answered some email which came in at 2am the previous night is considered a heinous offense. Engineering and Project Management are positioned at odds with each other. Neither respects the work of the other, so naturally finger pointing is nearly a daily occurrence. There is not even a whiff of any kind of company culture, or values other than just keep your head down and keep working.
