Pros
- Some of the people working there - A chance to learn quite fast a wide range of technologies - Good for maybe a year or two of experience - Developers get to work on some decent tech stacks
Cons
- Bad management - Bullying culture - Too much micromanagement - No/late/wrong super payments (Company has been reported to the ATO by several employees) - No real recognition for good work - No urgency to resolve issues unless they affect the bottom line - Management for the majority of the time would be reactive to issues rather than proactive - Most people in the company are just seen as resources rather than people by management (this very likely applies to several companies) - Blatant favoritism towards certain individuals (e.g one employee can suggest a change but that will be ignored until a favorite either suggests it or pushes for it) - Management doesn't really have any real power as the CEO has way too much input into all decisions When a review was posted on glassdoor while I was still working there the CEO himself went on the hunt to find the individual who wrote the review rather than addressing the issues. This just proves the reviews point about bullying. The review resulted to an employee being made redundant (company will not admit to this, but several employees current and former can attest to this)
