Great collaborative culture. Freedom to explore and choose research directions. Lots of responsibility and autonomy but great work life balance.

Small team so you eat what you kill and need to work things out.

Not many to think of. The salary was pretty ok.

The place is extremely toxic, the air in the office is literally poisonous. KGB style security and KGB style management. The company culture is built around deception and lies (particularly during bonus season), with a very heavy dose of micromanagement - you can feel the big brother breathing over your shoulder all the time! The average length of tenure is around a year, after which everyone (with the exception of the founders, around 6 people so far) has decided to leave. There are no learning opportunities. There is no career progression. The workforce in the eyes of management is expendable. In come fresh grads, out comes minced meat. You will have a better time sweeping floors then working for this fund.
