Poor onboarding, a culture of hazing and gaslighting. Middle management is incompetent, and top leadership is even more so. Terrible training, and you get punished for asking for help and for resources. The go-to-market strategy is constantly changing, and when making peak profits, they laid off 10% of their workforce who were top earners. Loyalty is more valuable than talent, and there is no career path unless you are a workaholic and work 70 hours a week. Upper management even told me they stay up until 3 am to work on things, and even though they don't demand this of you, it is silently expected. They are way underpaid for the current market rate, and HR is toxic and abusive and punishes people for not learning fast enough when they fail to give training and proper onboarding. Hands down the most toxic work environment in my 20+ year career in tech.
