Pros

Good hours, off many of the same holidays as spouse

Cons

Low pay, offers little room for advancement, managers have been there from the start- formed a clique and only care about themselves. No professional training offered to new hires, They hire military spouses but they don't hire as many of them as they promote.

Pros

As a milspouse I work remotely. Moving every 2-3 years is the milspouse life and I have been able to keep my job after 2 moves. If I did not work remotely I would be looking for a new job every time we move. It also gave me an opportunity to get back in the career field my degree is in.

Cons

Working remotely can feel a bit isolating, but the pros of remote work far out weigh the cons.

Pros

- Flexible hours... well, they used to be. - Cool mission: who doesn't want to be empowered as a woman? - Neat set of skills to pick up on the manufacturing floor.

Cons

- Loss of flexibility with scheduling. - The mission only extends as far as the social media posts--it doesn't actually mean anything for the people who work there. - no appreciation, acknowledgment or feedback on the job you do. - you're just a cog in the wheel of someone else's dream.
