Pros

Strong Brand Recognition – The RAC name carries significant weight with customers, opening doors and lending credibility in sales conversations. Supportive Immediate Team – Day-to-day colleagues are committed, professional, and genuinely want to deliver good outcomes for customers. Job Security & Benefits – As part of a large, established organisation, there’s stability and competitive employment terms compared to smaller companies Customer Trust – Longstanding relationships and customer confidence in the RAC’s heritage make retention easier.

Cons

Operational Friction – Basic processes are cumbersome, often creating frustration for customers and internal teams. Dedicated Customer Success Function – Retention and upsell opportunities are often missed due to the absence of structured customer success support. Internal Bureaucracy – Being part of a larger corporation sometimes stagnates decision-making Pressure Without Enablement – High sales targets are set, but often without the marketing, product, or operational support needed to realistically hit them.
