Pros

None. Cannot think of any pros to working there.

Cons

After 2 very successful interviews, I was hired, On the morning of the THIRD day, I was let go for no reasonable reason and WITHOUT a warning! Completely blindsided. As others have said here, the owners have ridiculously huge egos and expect perfection, without spelling out their expectations. They talk down to their employees and yell at them on a daily basis. I take pride in my work ethic, so I’m not taking this personally, but the environment is undeniably unhealthy. Oh and they want people to come into work sick. You only get TWO sick days per YEAR. The vacation and holiday policies are extremely poor, and the insurance premiums are excessively high. Overall, it’s clear they prioritize cars over the well-being of their employees.

Pros

RENNtech is its commitment to giving young adults and interns meaningful, hands-on experience. They are trusted with real responsibilities that help prepare them for success in the professional world.

Cons

I've worked at RENNtech for more than seven years, and during that time I've seen people come and go. The high-performance automotive industry is extremely challenging, and some people come in expecting it to be like working at a typical dealership. There's nothing wrong with dealerships such as Kia or Nissan, but RENNtech is a unique organization and one of the few high-performance automotive companies in the world that many enthusiasts would love the opportunity to work for. I first became interested in RENNtech while working outside of the United States. When I joined the company, I was fortunate to receive outstanding relocation assistance and accommodations. The housing provided by the owners was exceptional and made the transition much easier.

Pros

The engineering department comprises a number of highly skilled and dedicated professionals whose expertise and commitment are exemplary.

Cons

The senior management demonstrates a pattern of unprofessional behavior that has created a highly negative work environment. Appears to have limited experience managing a business effectively and frequently communicates with employees through yelling and profanity, often in a disrespectful manner. In my experience, the company culture is built on misleading representations and an expectation that employees will comply with directives regardless of ethical concerns. There seems to be a preference for hiring employees on work visas, which can create an imbalance of power and make individuals feel pressured to accept unfavorable working conditions. Employee retention has been a significant issue, with approximately 60% turnover over the past year, suggesting broader problems with management practices and workplace culture.
